SolarXList operates a directory of solar, photovoltaic and energy-storage companies. This policy explains what information we hold, where it comes from, how we use it, and the rights you have over it — in line with the GDPR, PIPEDA, CSL and PIPL.
What we collect
Our listings contain business information: company name, location, industry, website, and publicly listed business contact details. We do not seek to publish sensitive personal data. Where a contact appears to be an individual rather than a company mailbox (e.g. a personal email or mobile number), we apply a privacy mode and mask it from public view.
Where the data comes from
We aggregate information from public sources — company websites, public business records, industry directories and associations — and from companies that submit or claim their own listing.
Lawful basis & how we use it
We process business contact data on the basis of legitimate interest in maintaining a professional B2B directory, and on consent where a company submits its own details. We use the data to operate the directory, enable search and matchmaking, and provide membership and data services.
Your rights
- Access & correction — claim your listing to review and update your details.
- Erasure / opt-out — request removal at Remove my listing; we action verified requests promptly.
- Objection — object to processing or data sales at any time.
Data sharing & sales
We may offer aggregated business datasets to customers. Personal data masked under privacy mode is excluded, and any listing that has opted out is removed from exports.
